Q:
Why is this Website secure?
A: We made this Website secure so that our Subscribers could feel
confident that their contributions to this site would be viewed only
by their fellow Subscribers.
Q:
Why is the Website now available by subscription only?
A: This Website was created in 2002 as a service to all those who
were interested in receiving the latest criminal justice
information. As long as Don was working for the State of Illinois,
we provided this Site as a free service. On January 1, 2008, Don
retired from State employment. Following Don's retirement we decided
to provide access to this Website to paid Subscribers only.
Q:
How can I obtain access to this Website?
A: Simply click on the "Sign-up" button on the top of this or any
page of this Website. Click on the appropriate section, and provide
the needed information. We will provide you with access to this
Website upon receiving your subscription form.
Q:
What happens if I can't remember my
Username and/or Password?
A: Simply E-Mail Steve or Don and we will help.
Q:
Can I make suggestions and comments about
this Website?
A: Absolutely! Any constructive suggestions and comments will be
greatly appreciated. Simply E-Mail your suggestions to Steve or Don.
Additionally, you may, if you wish, post your suggestions on the
Message Boards that are available on the State's Attorneys and Law
Enforcement Sections.
Q:
Are there any plans to expand the services
offered by this Website?
A: Absolutely. We want this Website to be a living and growing
resource for you. In the near future we plan to add additional
publications to this Website. They will include an "Illinois
Vehicle Code/DUI Quarterly" and an "Avoiding
Trial Error Quarterly." Additionally, we plan to produce for
Law Enforcement Officers a "Training Case of
the Week." This publication will analyze a recently published
criminal justice opinion in a one or two page format. This
publication can then be used as an on-going training opportunity of
individual subscribers and/or police agencies.
Q:
If my office or agency has a number of
individuals who would like to subscribe to your Website, will you
offer a group rate?
A: Yes. If your office or agency would like a group subscription
rate just contact Don. A group rate can easily be arranged.
